Wedding: Hydz + Kima

We’ve finally finished the selection and editing. Woot! The wedding was set at 12NN and the lighting outdoors was very harsh as expected. We did have to confine ourselves in the shade and we are glad it worked out.
I always wanted to do a wedding in an urban environment, it does present its own set of challenges. On the other hand, we get to capture a wedding somewhere unique. We were in luck, as the wedding was set in the heart of Wilshire somewhere near the La Brea Tar Pits area.

Daniella: Graduation Shoot

At first we thought it was for a highschool senior photo, so we were set on doing something informal, pose and background-wise. There wasn’t much difference with a college graduation photo though, the basics are still the same.
She brought along friends here in Valencia. This made my job easier and a little bit of fun too. Her friends knew what poses look good on her and made suggestions on the fly.

A drizzle was forecasted right at the hour of the wedding. Fortunately, it was an hour late. It was overcast, we were blessed with God’s giant softbox.
